Of the 99 million tons, 48 million tons (48.54%) were industrial products, 26.4 million tons of (26.74%) agricultural products, 11.9 million tons (12.11%) of petroleum products and their derivatives, mineral products seven million tons (7.12%) and the remaining corresponds to forestry, inorganic and animal derivatives products, which together transported 5.4 million tons (5.49%).
"Compared to the January-September 2022 period, domestic traffic grew 4.9%, international traffic increased 1.4%, while imports rose 4.5% and exports decreased 6.9%," said the agency in the document Pulse of the Mexican Railway System.
Of the international traffic, 53.5 million tons, or 75.4%, were imports and 17.4 million (24.59%) were exports.
