UBER FLASH: FROM PEOPLE AND FOOD TO THE TRANSPORT OF GOODS

As it would happen last week with Cabify Envíos, the Uber company has also decided to venture into the world of parcel transport and delivery, for the time being in some Latin American countries.

 “This service will be active temporarily and exclusively during the contingency in the country, with the aim of helping by facilitating the transfer of articles. With this option, we help more people to stay at home and enable other alternatives so that the driving partners enrolled in the platform generate additional profits during the contingency, ”they assure from Uber Mexico.

The operation of Uber Flash will be like that of an Uber X trip, being available from 6 in the morning until 11 at night. Its service will be limited to the articles allowed by law, and only those objects that fit in the trunk of the vehicle may be delivered or collected.

Predictably, following the example set by Cabify in Spain, Uber's foray into the European logistics market will not take place, given the restrictions and strict regulations to which it is subject.
